Bruce Anderson: Peace Mandala

In Nepalese culture the Mandala is designed and created with the objective of raising consciousness thereby making life more effective.
Bruce (Nui) Anderson moved to Hokianga from Wellington in 1971. He worked in various jobs- Hokianga Country Council Labourer, Shop Assistant, Fisherman, Wool Presser, Photo Journalist, Archaeology Field Worker and volunteer ambulance driver . Although 71 years young, Bruce stubbornly insists he intends to become and adventurer ‘when I grow up’ and is currently planning his next (7th) ill advised and ill equipped expedition to the Himalayan Kingdom of Nepal.
