Show 3 is a collection of recent work by Robyn Gibson, Kath Batchelor and Nick Boyd, three artists who are recognised by unusual subject matter and exploratory techniques. Gibson’s works, mainly paintings and assemblage, are humorous and give the viewer something fun to consider. Katherine Batchelor’s suspended installation titled Limbo is an interactive quirky commentary on social behaviours and Nick Boyd’s paintings play with surrealist/contemporary techniques and painterly applications.
