‘When life hands you lemons, make lemonade.’
Nelson based light artist Larisse Hall creates unique light infused paintings or light sketches.
Captivated by the power and energy of optimism, her work combines the ethereal quality of light with the materiality of paint and form to create an almost tangible experience. This interplay, between the evident and the subliminal, the spoken and the intuitive, is articulated through light and colour and permeates her work.
Lemonade entices the audience to step inside ‘optimism’, to experience it as an actual energy that acts positively upon the disposition of the viewer.
